MCC Feszt House Rules
The MCC Feszt offers three days of public, interactive and musical events in the city center of Esztergom, where "Hungarian talent" is celebrated and where the essence of the MCC is reflected: community, public life, culture, science, sports, professional debates, music, dance, and entertainment.
We kindly ask the visitors to the MCC Feszt to be considerate of the people living in the city, especially with regard to littering and behavior that disturbs the peace at night.
MCC Feszt Pass
The MCC Feszt Pass includes a number of discounts in addition to admission to the Party Arena. Please make sure that the wristband remains intact, as only then can we guarantee you access to the paid programs and other discounts.
The MCC Feszt Pass can be purchased online at www.mccfeszt.hu or on site at the ticket sales point at the Party Arena on Széchenyi Square. MCC Feszt Passes purchased online can be redeemed for wristbands at the ticket sales point at the Party Arena on Széchenyi Square or at the MCC Feszt information desk at Esztergom railway station.
The wristband, worn intact on the wrist or the ankle, entitles the holder to admission to the MCC Feszt paid events, to the camping and toilet facilities at Gran Camping, to free entry to Saint Stephen Baths (Szent István Strandfürdő) and to discounts at MCC Feszt-related catering establishments, and to free sightseeing tours with the Esztergom Sightseeing Train (subject to capacity). The MCC Feszt Pass, purchased online and redeemed for a wristband at the Esztergom train station, entitles you to a free shuttle service between the train station and the Party Arena.
By purchasing the pass and participating in the free programs, you automatically accept the General Rules for Participation (GTC) and the MCC Feszt House Rules.
Types of MCC Feszt Passes:
- 1-day pass which includes:
- admission to the Party Arena program of the day
- one day free camping at Gran Camping, valid from 14:00 on the date indicated on the wristband until 10:00 the next day, complying with the Camping's rules and regulations
- free shuttle service between Esztergom train station and the Party Arena (only for tickets purchased online or at the information desk at the train station)
- free entry to the Saint Stephen Baths (Szent István Strandfürdő) on the date indicated on the wristband
- A discount on the consumption of the products indicated by the catering establishments associated with the MCC Feszt, at the rate set by each catering establishment
- Free sightseeing tour with the Esztergom Sightseeing Train (subject to capacity)
- 3 day-Pass which includes:
- admission to the Party Arena for the entire duration of the MCC Feszt
- free camping at Gran Camping for the entire duration of the event (Please leave the camping area by 10:00 on 8 August)
- free shuttle service between Esztergom train station and the Party Arena (only for tickets purchased online and purchased at the information desk at the train station)
- free entry to Saint Stephen Baths ( Szent István Strandfürdő) for the entire duration of the event
- A discount on the consumption of the products indicated by the catering establishments associated with the MCC Feszt, at the rate set by each catering establishment
- Free sightseeing tour by the Esztergom Sightseeing Train (up to the capacity of the train)
MCC Feszt Pass ticket prices (including 27% VAT):
- 1-day pass: HUF 2990
- 3-day pass: HUF 6990
COVID measures at the festival
MCC Feszt programs are only open to visitors with a vaccine certificate. In the event you are unable to provide evidence of your immunity, you may be refused entry to the festival programs, without compensation or refund of fees. Furthermore, participants in the MCC Feszt programs undertake to fully comply with the recommendations and measures of the epidemiological authorities, in particular the wearing of masks and the keeping of distance.
Camping facilities
Participants with an MCC Feszt Pass are entitled to free use of the camping and toilet facilities at Gran Camping: the 1-day pass, from 14:00 on the day of the date indicated on the wristband until 10:00 a.m the next day, and the 3-day pass for the entire duration of the MCC Feszt, but no later than 10:00 a.m on 8 August. In the event that you violate the campground rules or are in the area without permission, campground staff may ask you to leave the area.
Safekeeping of valuables
Please protect your valuables at the festival. At the MCC Feszt, there will be secure lock up units at your disposal at two locations (at the information point in Széchenyi Square and next to the Party Arena). The organizers will only be responsible for items deposited there.
Capacity
The capacity of some MCC Feszt venues, in particular the House of Relations and the Party Arena, is limited. In accordance with government COVID measures and security regulations, when the maximum capacity of a venue is reached, the Organizers may, with the coordination of the security service, restrict access to the venue. In this case, we kindly ask for your understanding and that you avoid aggressive behavior towards the organizers or the security service staff of the event.
What cannot be brought to the MCC Feszt?
It is strictly forbidden to bring objects that could endanger the physical safety of others at the MCC Feszt. According to Government Decree 175/2003 (28.X.), you may not carry certain objects that are particularly dangerous to public safety (knives with a cutting edge of more than 8 cm, switchblades, gas sprays, etc.), as this is a violation of the law. In Hungary, the consumption and possession of both light and hard drugs is a punishable offence, and it is strictly forbidden to bring in or use them at the MCC Feszt events! In addition, it is forbidden to bring to the MCC Feszt events firecrackers, rockets, pyrotechnics of any kind, as well as striking and cutting tools or objects that can be considered weapons!
Use of toilet facilities and toilets
Guests using the campground facilities can use the showers in Gran Camping.
In connection with the MCC Feszt, the organizers will provide free toilet facilities for visitors on Széchenyi Square, at the House of Relations and the Party Arena.
Please use only the toilets and showers provided for this purpose and ensure that they remain clean.
Other important information
Some MCC Feszt events are audio and video recorded. Any participant appearing on the recordings must give their consent before being named. The person appearing on the recording may not bring any claim against the organizers, the person who made the recording or its legitimate users. Please note that images, sound and drone recordings may only be made at each event with the prior written consent of the organizers.
